What are tarpaulin eyelets used for?
Tarpaulin eyelets are used on tarpaulins to create specially reinforced attachment points, which in turn allow ropes and other tying down items to be used to secure the tarp in place. They are usually installed along the edges of tarpaulins to allow the ropes, bungee cords and so on to be tied down tightly.
