Using a Tarp as a Boat Cover

10th Sep 2021

Some of our most regular customers are boat owners, looking for something cost effective to cover their boat over winter or a protective sheet to work under.

Our Topgrade tarpaulin makes a great boat cover. It’s made from tightly woven polyethylene with plastic eyelets every metre (so they won’t scratch your boat).

They're available in three different colours, our most popular being blue but you could also go for green or white. Weighing 200 grams per square metre they're lightweight but incredibly tough, making them easy to fit while still giving the best protection. They're completely water proof, rot proof and UV protected so they won’t get damaged if left out in the sun.

We also stock a heavier duty Monotex tarpaulin, weighing 250 gsm. Our Monotex is a great choice if you’re carrying out maintenance on your boat because it’s available in a clear material, so it lets the light through.

We also stock a full range of ties and accessories to make sure your tarpaulin is fitted securely.
